Wharton County SPOT

For the homeless pets of Wharton County

Become a Member of the Stray Pet Outreach Team of Wharton County.  Print and fill out the form.  You can email to SPOT or send it USPS.

There are so many ways to volunteer to meet anyone's abilities or availability.  From working an adoption event to licking stamps.  Anyone can help, even the kids.

Foster is our biggest need.  Without foster homes we are not able to take in animals needing a safe haven while they wait for their forever homes.  Fosters are the angels of volunteers.

Donations can come in many forms.  Money being the most obvious but SPOT also has a need for donations of pet foods, carriers, general pet supplies and towels/blankets.  Some people have simply donated gift cards so that SPOT can make purchases for our biggest need at the time.

Contact SPOT if you want to donate items or click below to make a monetary donation.

Adoption is the first step into the rest of our rescued and fostered pets life.  Adoption means that a once discarded and probably traumatized dog or cat can now feel safe and loved.  We hold adoptions in Wharton two times a month at the corner of Alabama and Boling Hwy in the WCJC parking lot #2.  Check our Calendar for dates and times.  You can look at our available pets by clicking below.  There is a link to our Adoption Application if you want to print that out.
